For students or perspective students
Please email me if you have interests to work on a project with me. I will also be taking new undergraduate(3rd, 4th years) and graduate students. You are more than welcome to contact me if are interested in my research or curious about the research I am doing.
Background requirements
Our lab, Computational Molecular Design and Detection Laboratory, is a multidisciplinary lab. Students with computer science, mathematics, statistics, chemistry, physics, biology and medical background are all welcome to join. I prefer students with strong curiosity, self-discipline, and who are willing to learn new methods, and techniques from different disciplines to solve problems. Research and learning in our lab requires students to develop ability to think and work clearly, critically and creatively. Constant scientific paper readings, discussion with advisor and lab mates, working with multidisciplinary people and projects are facts in our lab.
Graduation requirements
For Master students, you should develop and have the ability to define, solve, execute with a good scope and topic, in the two to three years of study.
For PhD students, you should have good training in another domain knowledge other than your master, or undergraduate studies within your years as PhD students. You should be able to define, solve, and execute research in a series of topics with a central theme.
